F. E. Burns returned Monday
morning from attending the Na
tional Educational Association’s
convention which met at Salt
Lake, Utah. He reports a very
interesting meeting with an at
tendance o f 7,000. He was much
struck with the city, its broad
streets and the order which there
prevailed, seeing only two police
men while there. He heard the
big organ in the tabernacle which
is played every day, and which
is one o f the finest in the coun
try. The Mormons are great on
music and furnish free concerts
in this building, which are o f a
very high order.
