Grorge Pointer made a business
trip to Portland, Friday.
Lee Bronsoti arrived Saturday
to join his wife and son Beverly.
Miss Gertrude McKnight left
for her home at Corvallis, Friday

Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Wagner
spent the week end at Mon­
mouth.
Mrs. Lee Bronson and son Bev­
erly, o f Portland, were visiting
friends here last week.
Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Greenwood
were up from Bull Run Friday
to attend the commencement.
Mrs. James Smith entertained
her sister-in-law, Mrs. L. E.
Townsend, of Bull Run, for the
week end.

Tom Rhodes moved his family
and household goods Sunday to
the Cromer logging camp at L< -
gan.
Mattie Lou ns bury will
move into the house vacated by
Mr. Rhodes.
Ed Boner is having the old
barber shop nicely painted and
papered preparatory to installing
a line of sporting goods and
kodak supplies. R. Hughes is
doing the work.

senator, was up here with his
son on Friday attending the Com­
munity picnic and shaking hands
with his many friends.

M. Marshall are glad to see that
she is able to walk down town
again, showing that she is recov­
ering her health and strength
after her operation a few weeks
ago.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bard, o f
Springwater, started out in their
car Friday morning for a trip in
Eastern Oregon. They will visit
atHeppner, Monument and Bend,
camping out on the way. The
trip is undertaken for the benefit
o f Mrs. Bard’s health, and they
expect to be gone about three
weeks.
