1 have lived in Clackamas

from end to end and from top to
j bottom. I taught school in the
Zion School House in the winter
of 1874-5 and know the pioneer
people of all that section. If
elected 1 will conduct the affairs
of’the county with the utmost
efficiency and strictest economy.
Ivly over forty y< ars of business
and professional experience, will
he given to the people of the
county without stint or limit.
With the bonds voted 1 am firmly
o f the opinion, that every one of
the 144 miles o f mad should be
made. I count it a solemn pledge
and should h e sacredly kept.
And the utmost cure should be
taken as to the quality of the
road made. No let-down any
where. With the completion of
this loop-road up the Clackamas
oil one side and down on the
other, I Am of the opinion that a
growth and prospm iiy will come
to the whole tributary country

It will U* my
great pleasure to aid in aJl this

E. H. S. vs.
Molalla
The game which arouses al
ways considerable interest, is
that between Molalla and Fata-
cad a, as the rivalry between the
two schools is keen. The game
yesterday fell to the forme/ by a
s •nr * of 5 to l. It was a case of
i
the lietter team winning.
Our
boys showed [»luck but the odds
were against them.
Arnold
Lovelace made the solitary run
for the home team.
However,
the boys take their defeat in a
good s p ir it and hope to turn the
Y
tables next time.
