Estacada, Oregon, October 16, 1919.
To Our Many Friends and Patrons:
We have sold out our business to Messrs. Raker & Son of Gresham, who have
now assumed charge. We wish to thank you for your generous patronage, which
enabled us to build up a business which would be a credit to a town far larger than
Estacada.
We bespeak for our successors the same liberal treatment you have accorded us.
Messrs. Raker & Son are no strangers to most of you, as they have maintained for
some years the Ford Agency at Gresham and are experts in the automobile line. We
have taken pride in furnishing expert service during the years past, and we would have
hesitated at selling out to anyone who would not continue the like service. But we
have no misgivings whatsoever on this score, as we know that the new owners will be
more likely to excel than lower the standard heretofore maintained.
Thanking you again for your past favors,
Yours very truly,
M . J. K E R K E S
