Lost her Canary Birds A lady in town, had a pair of canary birds, which she had had for some time and were very tame. She had been accustomed to letting them out, and after flying around, they would always return to their cage. A short time ago, she traded off the hen bird for a new on^. Evidently this “ female of the species“ was more flighty than her predeces sor, for on being let out, she Hew otr with the male and did not re turn. Where, O where are they ? Have they met an untimely death from the sling shot of some boy, or the claws of a marauding cat? Possibly however, they are on an extended honey moon, and will yet return. We have noticed that this is often the case when a widower takes unto himself a young wife. Dr. L. A. Wells Dentist Associated with Dr. R. Graham McCall Dr. R.
