VIOLA BREEZES
Mr. and Mrs. John Ficken and
son Stanley, after spending the
spring and summer among rela­
tives and friends in Kansas and
Missouri, returned last week to
Old Oregon. We are glad to
welcome them home again.
Bruce Randolph and sister
Norma are attending the Estaca­
da high school.
We wish to extend our best
w ishes to our former neighbor.
Miss Lora Cockerline, who be­
came the happy bride of Ivan
Lasey of Sprim? water, on Tues­
day, tne 1G, at Portland.
Win. Miller and family were
out from Portland on Sunday to
visit with Grandpa Miller and
other relatives.
Fred Brash had (juice a sur-
prise on Friday when his mother

from St. Johns, drove up to his
home, and also his two oldest
sisters, Mrs. E. C. Hurlbert of
Los Angeles, Calf., and Mrs.
Charles Callard and husband
and their three children from
New York. It was a jolly
crowd, eighteen all together.
They returned to Poitland Sun­
day evening.
