sas on a business trip and will be
absent for some time.
Mrs. F. W. Gartner of Port­
land, is the guest of Mrs. E. E.

Mrs. W. A. Heylman accom­
panied Mrs. Mae Belknap who
has been visiting her for two
weeks, back to Portland Wed­
nesday evening.
Joel B. Bowman of Upper Gar­
field has an apiary of over sixty
hives. He reports a good honey
season and to support his state­
ment, he has delivered a number
of cases containing 24 pounds
each, to local merchants. Bee­
keeping to those who have a nat­
ural love for bees, is a most fas­
cinating pursuit, and in good sea­
sons very profitable.
