leave next week for a visit with

An enthusiastic meeting at the
German Bund ha 1 at George
was held Tuesday night in re­
gard to obtainingthe Hood River
Loop road. Another meeting for
the same purpose will be held
tonight in Garfield.
Mrs. C. T. Griffith, of Dubu­
que, Iowa, is visiting her sister,
Mrs. J. F. Dunlop.

Mr. and Mrs. Greenwood of
Bull Run and Mrs. E. D. Allen
of Marmot, attended the Eastern
Star session Tuesday evening.
This was t he concluding one and
the Chapter will take a recess
until fall.
