Farewell Reception
for Mrs. Walter Givens
The Ladies' Aid society of the
Christian Church, gave a fare­
well reception to Mrs. Walter
Givens at her home, on Monday
afternoon. Mrs. Givens will re­
move this week to Kent, where
her husband is now located. As
a token of affection and appre­
ciation of her work in the society,
the members presented her with
a beautiful lunch cloth, which
was made by the native girls of
India.
Refreshments were s e r ve d
consisting of sandwiches, pickles,
cake and coffee and all reported
a very enjoyable time, although
the thought of losing Mrs. Givens
caused a feeling of sadness.
