Earl Day of Estacada returned
Friday, from a month’s vacation
in Sherman County where he aid­
ed in the harvesting, making his
little $6. per day for driving a
four horse outfit. Earl says he
could just as well have driven
eight horses and earned $12. hut
there was a scarcity of horses.
During Ea^Ts absence, the U. S.
mail delivery on Estacada R. F.
I). No. 2 was well cared for by
Mrs. Day.
