UPPER EAGLE CREEK NOTES
(C ontributed)
A recent letter from W. W Dil
lon of Garfield, who for the past
year has been engaged in active
Y. M. C. A. work in France, re
veals the fact that he has recent-
been placed in chaige of the Y.
M. C. A. work for a full army
division.
We don’t know exactly the
number of men in a U. S. army
division but it is somewhere about
20,000. We do know W. W. Dil
lon is capable of assuming such a
job, for he has been in the work
for many years and since being
stationed on the other side has
been close to the firing line, hav
ing worked for several days in a
dug-out in the front trenches and
under heavy fire.
