Local Lumbermen
Buy Fine Timber
Henry Boyer of Estacada, who
has been employed in the fores
try service up the Clackamas,
last Friday, cut his right leg
with an axe, necessitating his
return to home and a doctor.
After several weeks careful in
vestigation in various timber
sections of Oregon, James Park
and Will Closner of Estacada, of
the Park & Closner mill, iate of
Currinsvilie. have purchased a
55 acre piece of extra fine timber
near Eugene.
These mill men have not only
purchased a quantity sufficient
to operate their mill for from
three to four years in cutting
ties, but have arranged for the
timber on ah adjoining 245 acres.
Within the next two weeks the
machinery from the present mill
will be enroute to its new location
and soon after it is expected the
mill will be in operation.
