the News of date of April 19th,
wishes to express his heartfelt
thanks to the many friends at
home who have contributed the
good things contained in the mi­
merons boxes which he has re­
ceived.
He says all boxes arc divided
among his fellow soldiers and
while he regrets the recent postal
riding prohibiting the sending of
more such welcome gifts, he and
the boys are willing to get along
without them, if “ it will help lick
the Kaiser.”

dero, who is suffering from the
effects of a severe attack of
