February 14, 1918 Vol. 2 No. 4 Estacada, Oregon W HETHER RAIN OR SHINE Bring your basket and HOOVER call at our Counter which will be featured at our store again on F rid a y , S a tu r d a y a n d M o n d a y REAL BARGAINS always prevail on this counter and U can’t afford to overlook them Of Course at the prices articles are sold on this counter, you wouldn’t ask us to wrap or deliver them or sell for other than cash. .Just do like hundreds did last week, grab the old market basket and the purse, come in and load up, then o TWT t t r as you figure how much you have saved. A word to the wise is sufficient. Keep the Hens and Pullets The United States Food Administrator has ruled that we can buy no more Hens or Pullets until after April 30th, and we will abide by this ruling. Dur ing the interval we will continue to buy all other poultry not under this ban, for which we will pay the usual top prices. Bring us your eggs. Last week when the market weakened so rapidly we continued to pay the very top prices and as a result we handled over fify cases. It will always pay you to get our prices no matter what you have to sell. Feed Is mighty scarce and hard to get, hut we are doing tin* very best that we possibly can to keep on hand the best substitutes for mill feeds until such time as our car from Walla Walla arrives. We are expecting it every day. Our car of eastern corn arrived on schedule time and as we go to press is almost entirely cleaned up.
