Ore., August 9. 1917. Cascade Carage, Estacada, Ore., Gentlemen; You asked me reeent'y how 1 liked my Chevrolet “ 490“ car. If I could not replace ti e iar. 1 would not sell it for twice what it cost me. The car was purchased by me from E. S. Peters Co.. Tuscan, Arizona. June 2nd, 1917. Strict ly stock car. 1 drove it two weeks before starting to Oregon, so was a comparatively green driver. My wife and 1 loaded the car to the guards and started across the Mojave desert which they would not let us travel dur ing the day on account ot heat. Then thru Grand Canyon and over grades as high as .‘15 V The entire distance covered was about 2400 times and the time on the road was a little less than ten days. * Average mileage a day was over 230. 1 kept accurate record of gasoline and the aver age mileage on gasoline was about 22 miles. 1 did not spend one cent for repairs and the car • is running as good as ever. So far as I now know, the Chevrolet will always be my choice of car. Yours very truly, F. C. Rehberg, Boring R. F. I). Ex-Postmaster Enters Partnership In Portland A. N.
