The exami­ nation commenced Tuesday and will continue until the county’s quota of 52 has been secured. 35 are bein# called each day. Of the first 35 called, four or five had already enlisted and in the second 35 two had enlisted. | Miss Leila Howe went to Ore­ gon City Monday where she will attend teachers’ training school for three w^eks, a s a continuation of her studies at the State Normal during the summer.
