Union Church Services The churches of the City have arranged to hold union services each Sunday evening, during Julv and as much longer as it seems practical. Tim first of the^e services will be held next Sunday even ng, at th i Church of Christ and toe following Sun day evening, in the Methodist church. The services next Sunday eve ning will be of a patriotic nature. A special program in the w’ay of speaking and music has been arranged. The house should be filled upon this occasion. L. & P. mail train, due in Estacada Wednesday aft ernoon at 4:30 met with an acci dent at Hogan Station, when it crashed into an automobile, kill ing two of the occupants and seriously injuring the third. Owing to the auto’s gasoline tank exploding, the mail car caught fire and was completely consumed. The dead are Mr. and Mrs. C. E. June 29th, with the milk col lection on the Springwater side of the river beginning that day, and the balance of the routes starting the following morning. The milk cans are already here and all patrons should be in read iness to begin sending in their milk on the first clay. The Sprb’gwater route will be in charge of Mr. Zack of Dodge, with the Viola delivery being handled by Mr Bateson. The milk collection in Eagle Creek, Currinsville and Garfield will l e conducted by Ed Douglass and A. N. Orke of Eagle Creek and Herman Dnus of Garfield. Every dairyman in this com munity is urged to begin contrib uting milk, beginning with the first day’s collection, for the suc cess of the cheesery should dn e from its opening and a lack of milk at this t :me will prove a serious handicap.
