of mill stuffs are abnormal we
have cast about us in an effort to
secure if possible some substi-
tutes for the regular feeds you
have always used, which we can

est thing for them to do is to go
on living in the normal way to
which they have been accustom­
ed and to begin unusual econo­
mizing retrenchment when they

danger of slowing: down industry
generally and closing down of
mills and other producing factors,
which would bring about a de­
moralization of business, and this
is just the opposite of what is
desired at the present time.
