the clean-up were defrayed by the
Estacada City Council, they wish
to heartily thank the ladies for
their important part in the work,
and the soldiers and townspeople
for their services, and especially
thank those of our neighboring
rural friends who not only freely
joined in the work but freely con­
tributed their teams and wagons.

flag pole at the entrance to the
Estacada Park. the soldiers of
'Conpqu^y. D raised a magnificent
twentv-foot long American flag,
which will be maintained there
until such time as the eitv ean
purchase its own emblem. This
flag was loaned by Mrs. M. II.
Evans of Estacada and is to be
raised and lowered each day by
the Company 1) men.

from Mr. and Mrs. E. Ellison of
Camas, Washington, who formerly
resided in Estacada, of the birth
of a son last Thursday.
