T he Milk Situation f C. li. Lovell of Currinsville, alter a six-months’ attempt to build up a permanent milk route in Estaeada. lias this week an nounced his withdrawal from the field. Mr. Lovell’s reasons for discon tinuing: the route are lack of suf ficient patronage together with the increased cost of maintaining his Jersey herd and dairy equip ment. It was reported by Councilman Wagner at Tuesday’s Council meeting that following the en forcement of the Estaeada herd law, an advance in the price of milk would probably he inaile by the local cow owners. Such action is not a surprise to the consumers who realize the present increased cost of milk production. President Ewing of the Esta- cada Cooperative Cheese Assn. holds out hopes that some equit- able arrangement may be mude by the Estaeada people for the ob taining of milk and cream from the cheese factory as soon as it is in operation. + ♦ SUMMER SPECIALS Starting: Saturday Lunch Meats Columbia Frankfurters Kenton Cooked Specialty Minced Specialty Columbia Luncheon Loaf ” Corned Beef 22c lb 25c 25c 30c 40c All Kinds Of Fresh Vegetables In Season ( H R H U C K L B B t S R Y O F F K R B C O N S O L A T IO N r ) m NO G R O U C H , BUT m SO T I R E D O R > O R D I N A R Y T O B A C C O AND W A N T A C H E W O F GOOD T O B A C C O SO B A D I'D DO a n y t h i n g f o r i t t. It takes the richest, sappiest tobacco that grows, to make satisfactory chewing. That is why so many are changing over to W-B C U T . Excess sweetening makes a poor substitute with intelligent people. Pound for pound, there’s more tobacco in W-B than in ordinary plug; and it’s sappy tobacco, every shred of it.
