County Christian Endeavor
To Hold Rally at Estacada
Probably, owing to the present
City Election June 5th
«
methods of advertising employed
by the City of Estacada, namely
of posting or hiding important
public notices on a few telephone
poles, few people know that a
regular election for the City of
Estacada is called for June 5th, at
which time a new mayor and other
city officials are supposed to be
elected.
While this election has been or
dered it may not be necessary
to hold same, all depending on
the outcome of the constitutional
amendment to be voted upon by
the state, on June 4th, the day
preceding.
This amendment, if
passed, will make it lawful that
all city, state and town elections
be held on the same d a y ; conse
quently if no election is held in
Estacada on the 5th, the present
city officials will hold office un
til the November election next
year.
