Hodgkiss while Mr. Hodgkiss is at Tacoma Washing ton, working on a poultry farm. Mike Granatzki, purchased a jersey cow, from A. Miller. Mrs. C. Meilike is suffering from a felon and badly infected finger. Montie Cox spent several days in Timber Grove at the home of Mrs. Maxon, who died, following a paralytic stroke. We have bought considerable Wool and Mohair this week. Mrs. Robert Guttridge’s sister and husband from Montana, and her mother ot Gresham, have been visiting her for the last few weeks. Mrs. P. Erickson, who under went an operation at the Good Samaritan Hospital at Portland, is reported to be getting along nicely. Oscar Holman is planting pota toes for several of the neighbors, with his new potato planter. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Schenk at tended the funeral of their niece, Mrs. C. Oswald last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Peterson spent several days in Portland and Sherwood last week visiting with relatives. J. A.
