depth of only 120 feet is the largest
sand bunk in the North sea. and in by
gone times it was claimed by both
Holland and Denmark. The name has
nothing to do with the geological for
illation of which the sand bank is com
posed. “ Dogger” is a sandy, iron im­
pregnated stoue that is well known to
the geologist

is similar to the ketch, hut adapted
