Paving Completed At the time o f the News going to press, the last section o f the Broadway concrete paving in Es tacada is being completed. In all, about two months has elapsed since the beginning o f the work, with the street closed up until a few days ago, when a pas sage way for vehicles was opened up on the two sides. Gilbert L . Walter Douglass returned home Monday from Eastern Oregon, where he has b e e n working through harvest. His son Virgil, who is coming across the moun tains with the team, is expected home Wednesday. H. S. Gibson was a Barton vis itor Sunday. Mrs. Orke and her sister, who is visiting her, made a pleasant call on Mrs. E. Hollander Sunday afternoon.
