J. C. Bradford o f Portland is
spending a few weeks recuperat­
ing at the Estacada Hotel. Mr.
Bradford will be remembered as
the superintendent o f the old mill
at River Mill, but owing to a re­
cent illness and lengthy stay in
the hospital, few friends would
recognize him now, as he has lost
about one hundred pounds of
fiesh, but m a in s his smile.
