S. foot-ball team is fast being rounded into condition for next Saturday’s game against Franklin High School of Portland. The game begins at 2:30 sharp on the athletic grounds adjoining the school. Every man, woman and child in this vicinity should witness this game, for good root ing and encouragement help to win. arid a winning at the first of the season, furnishes the home team that confidence which as sures continued successes. A half dozen or more of last year’s warriors are in uniform again a n d several promising youngsters are in training. Fol som of Springwater, Somers of Estaeada and one or two others of the new talent are making a good showing and stand a fair chance of making the varsity team. Denny of 1914 fame has not returned to school yet, but is expected soon, as are also one or two other good men. The line-up while not definitely decided upon yet, will probably comprise:- Schmidt C.
