Rands Elected To Water Board
H. A. Rands, chief engineer of
the South Fork pipe line, was e-
lected by the Oregon City council
la.->t week, to fill the vacancy on
the water board, caused by the
resignation o f Commissioner Cau- \
field.
The selection of Mr. Rands is a
wise one, for he has not only been
the engineer in charge of the
work, but has been one of the
prime movers for pure water
since the days o f Oregon City’s
typhoid epidemic.
