Boswell, and o f the still heavier loss sustained by those who were nearest and dearest to her, be it; RESOLVED, That it is but a j just tribute to the memory o f the departed, to say, that in re- i gretting her removal from our midst we mourn for one who was in every way worthy o f our ’love and respect. These examinations are open to all men between the ages o f 18 and 55 years and the maximum age is waived in the cases o f per sons honorably discharged from the U. S. military or naval ser vice. The Juniors and Seniors o f the Estacada High School, last Fri day evening gave a surprise party on Leona and Leroy Card, at their house on Zobrist Street. The affair was in honor o f their 19th birthday. Cards and the finest o f refreshments made the evening pass by all too quickly.
