Wanted Hogs, Cattle, Sheep
The Estacada Stock Yards will be opened next Saturday,
December 12th and I want to make up a shipment of live
stock, to leave Estacada, Monday the 14th.
From then on, I expect to ship every other Monday or
oftener, as the supply warrants. I will be in Estacada, the
Saturday and Sunday preceeding each shipping day and the
day after.
I want to buy your livestock on the hoof. I will have
my automobile with me and call and see your stock on your
farm. It is not necessary for me to see your hogs before
buying, you can bring them in and receive best market price,
cash on delivery at the Estacada Stock Yards.
During the time when I am not in Estacada, the grower
can phone to R M. Standish in Estacada and he will act as
my agent Notify him the number of hogs you wish to sell,
and he will quote you the price and tell you the date of next
shipment and the day to deliver at the yards. If you have
cattle or sheep to sell advise Mr. Standish as far in advance
as possible, so cars can be reserved for shipping, and I will
call on you at your farm.
Remember I pay CASH on delivery for all livestock
purchased and I will gladly come to your place and buy
there, if you prefer.
Come next Saturday, Dec. 12th to the Butchering Dem
onstration in Estacada. I want to meet you and get ac
quainted, for I hope to pay you many dollars in the years to
come. There will be several good talks on Hog Raising,
Judging, Feeding, Tankage, etc., at the Saturday demon
stration, so be sure and be present.
For further information, call or phone R. M. Standish,
Estacada.
C- E. LUCKE, Livestock Buyer.

your continued good will.
