Mrs C. M. Folsom of Spring-
water was called to Walla Walla,

tend her infant grandson, who was
kicked by a horse and severely in­
jured. He was taken from hts
home at Dayton to St Mary 's hos­
pital iu Walla Walla, immediately.
Ed. Ficken and Clarence Juhb of
Viola had a bad scare last week,
when their horse ran away and
threw both of them out. Aside
from a broken buggv, no harm was

Mrs. M. Delap of Portland has
moved to Estacada and intends to
make it her future home.
Miss Florence Schultz of Craw-
fordsville, Ind , arrived in Estacada
last week, to make her permanent
home with her brother, J. M
