Mr Mrs. Mason Warnock. celebrated their golden wedding Christmas. They received many valuable pres ents and a large mitnlier of people helped celebrate the event. Their four children Charles D Warnock of Evanston 111 ; Samuel Warnock of Oregou City ; F‘ red Warnock ol E lk River. Idaho and Mrs I). C Howell of Oregon City, are ail liv ing. Mrs. Warnock crossed the plains with her parents in 0(53. Mrs, Warnock came from Salinu Co. Mo and Mr. Warnock from Indiana. Both are in excellent health. Tin- Progress joins the host of friend-, in congratulations. Sagner Wins His Suit In a civil suit brought by Adolph Sagner, against G. II. Lichtliorn for carpenter work, Friday, the plaintiff secured judgement of $9 93 and costs. The defense admitted the iiumlier of days charged hut Slid the price charged was excess ive, inasmuch as the plaintiff did not always work as a carpenter but as a laborer.
