Quite a number of residents of this section have been asking The Progress if a well digging outfit is located anywhere in Clackamas county. It is believed such an outfit would secure employment for the reason that the cost of well drilling is cheaper than digging and curbing and the wells are considered much less liable to contagion. John B, Palmer and Emmett Harkenrider, nephews of F. J. Harkenrider arrived this week from Fort Wayne Indiana, for a visit with their uucle of two or three weeks. This is the first visit of the young men to the west and they are enjoying it hugely.
