Death Of Francis L
On Saturday evening two basket
ball games were played at the Pa
vilion These were the first games
played by the local High School
team with a visiting team and much
enthusiasm was manifested by the
patrons of the school. A very good
attendance was accorded the play
ers. The Gresham High School
boys and girls teams were the visit
ors and they played good ball.
They came in a special car and a
number of Greshamites who were
present cheered the good playing
they did. The first game was by
the girls’ teams.
Our girls were
praised for their one score and the
fact they were able to hold the
score of Gresham down, as in both
the girls and boys teams we were
outclassed by the visitors. The
line-up of Gresham was: Maude
Mitchell, forward; Lottie Davis,

Marguerite

tacada’ s line-up was Echo Githens,
