Blood who is the owner of considerable property in Estaca da, surprised his friends by sudden ly dropping into town on Tuesday, Mr. Blood has not been well for al most a year but at present has re gained his former health, which is gratifying news to all. A Shower Last Friday evening about two dozen of the young friends of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Eshlemau dropped in on them in their new house on the Boulevard, and surprised them with a shower. The guests wete all dressed in hard time costumes, and to say they were hard time does not do justice to the costumes at all. Most of them resembled a crazy quilt that had been badly torn. To say the surprisers en joyed themselves would be putting that very lightly also. Refresh ments were served after the usual generous supply of games had been exhausted. About midnight all re turned to their several homes, wish ing there might be many more newlyweds on whom they could call and surprise.
