; Editor Estacada Progress,
| Dear Sir:—
It seems to me your
I reporters are not attending strictly
j to business and don’t get all the
: news. Now I looked and looked
1 in vain in yonr last issue for some-
j thing about the surprise party given
on Mrs. Nellie Curriu just before
j her departure for the East.
Well, there was something like
fifty people there- mostly married
people at that. All seemed to have
a good time and you should have
seen the ice cream and cake that
was put away. Everybody had all
they could eat even A 1 Darling; I
jam sure he didu't eat over nineteen
dishes.
Norman Linn and Joe-
Marks tried to give him a race but
had to drop out after the fourth or
fifth round. A 1 made a full score
and was an easy winner, coming in
on the home stretch not the least
bit winded or ‘ ‘ het” up.
Well, ’,ve all bad a good time and
hope to have another when Mrs,
Currin returns from her visit in the
East.

Faithful Little Girls
We believe the six or eight little [
girls who, all day long, picked
stems off the berries and worked
faithfully and prefered to do so in
stead of having a good time, are
deserving of special mention as
workers. The workers all deserve
praise for their part, but those little
girls should be doubly compliment
ed for their faithfulness.
doctor yourself, for self-medication is a risky proposition,
Go to a
good physician and let him prescribe the proper medicine.
Then be sure and have that prescription carefully compound
ed.
Bring it to the ESTACADA PHARMACY and the medicine you get
will be the finest possible that can be prepared according to that
prescription.
Every prescription ingredient used at the Estacada Pharmacy
is of full standard potency, the purest, freshest and strongest ob
tainable, and being compounded carefully will insure your receiv
ing superlatively affective medicine.
