tion returns than at any time since
the new building was erected. But
the greattst event, both in attend­
ance and importance was the ban­
quet given Friday night to mark the
opening of the “ North Bank Road”
with the honored guests including

Board of Directors of the Great
Northern; Howard Elliott, President
of the Northern Pacifie; Louis W.
Hill, President of the Great North­
ern; Francis B. Clarke, President
of the Spokane, Portland and Seattle
George P. Harris, President of the
Chicago, Burlington & Quincy, and
other officials of national reputation
in the railway and commercial world
