There seems to be no doubt but
that I". M. Gi!l will be one of the
successful ones to secure the nom
ination for state representative from
Clackamas county.
Should Mr.
Gill be successful in the campaign
the people, the farmers and labor
ing men especially, will have some
one in tlie next state legislature who
will always be on hand to work for
their interests. He is in close touch
with the wants of the common peo
ple in regards to proposed legisla
tion which would lie for the benefit
of the whole state. Eastern Clack
amas has just as good material for
legislative honors and county offic
ers as any other part of the county
has. The very best the country
lias every produced came from the
farm, aud there is still good materi
al to be had from the country dis-
tiicts. Mr. Gill would be a worker
for everthing that would be for the
up-building of the State of Oregon,
and for Clackamas county in partic
ular. Since Mr. Paulson’ s days as
a regresentative, and many years
before that, this portion of Clacka
mas has not been recognized with
official honors being heaped upon
any of its people. We believe that
the county and state's best interests
will be promoted by Mr. Gill’s suc
cess at the polls.

Cured of Rheumatism
Wm. Henry of Chattanooga, Tenn.*
had rheumatism in his left arm.
“ The
strength seemed to have gone out of the
muscles so that it was useless for work.”
he says. “ I applied Chamberlain’s pain
balm and wrapped the arm in flannel at
night, and to my relief I found that the
pain gradually left me and the strength
returned.” If troubled with rheumatism
try a few applications of pain balm. You
are certain to be pleased with the relief
which it affords. Sold at Estacada drug
store

Yes, I Have Found It at Last
Found what? Why that Chamberlain's
salve cures eczema and all manner of itch
ing of the skin. I have been afflicted for
many years with skin deseases. I had to
get up three or four times every night
and wash with cold water to allay the ter
rible itching, but since using this salve
in December, 1905 the itching has stop
ped and has not troubled me.— Elder J.
T. Ongley, Rootville, Pa.
