E . church closed on Friday last with an evening of singing by the Meneley quartet and a number of impersoninations by Mr. Ricketts. These exhibitions ore all of an uplifting nature, 'in structive and pleasing. T h e Ladies’ Aid Society, under whose auspices these entertainments were given, took in $ 4 6 .1 5 as their share of the receipts from the door, ami sale of A id articles and refreshments. The gross door receipts amounted to a- bout $90.
