Kester as principal. Miss Cutter and Miss Kennedy are again teaching the young ideas at Currinsville. School opened on Monday. Jackson Rice and family have moved here from Wapinitia and he is at work at the famous Fanton shingle mill. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Olierle and son Howard of Portland are spend­ ing the week visiting at the Holder home. Mr. Olierle is engineer at the Portland hotel. Mrs. Nellie H. Latnbson, who held the position of State Comman­ der of the Ladies of the Maccabees, was given a farewell party in Port­ land Saturday evening previous to her departure for Washington.
