The weather was ideal, and the'players 111 the right spirit for playing. The Eagle Creek boys came in on the after dinner car which was late and the game'soon started. The home team had things easy the first half, which ended 6 to 1, hut the visiting players got ju the game at this point and took 7 scores before the close. The game was remarkable for sev eral things: the excellent playing of both nines, the quietness of the en tire game, and the absence of the usual jangling between players. It was a good game from first to last, and the crowd enjoyed it. A t the end the score stood 8 to 11 in favor of Manager Spark’s nine.
