ing that it would be worth close to

That sounds big. But the one who
made the estimate should under
stand that he is not required to cov
er the grade with silver dollars. It
isn’ t necessary. Two hundred dol
lars or less should put the grade in
fairly good condition, so as to satis
fy the country travel. It may pos
sibly be that the surveyors have
made too much of a cut in the hill,
and have overcalculated the city’ s
intentions in making the improve
ment.
