Crowe committed suicide by cutting his throat with a razor. Grief over business matters drove the man insane, though lie is said to own 100 acres of good timber in this county and 400 acres of land in Nova Scotia, where his wife and two daughters are living. The club was organized a few evenings ago by Claude Whitman and meets each evening in the Hotel Park Hall which has been fitted up as a gym nasium. The boys take consider able interest in the work of the club. Mr. Whitman, who is instructing the members in the exercises, is a member of the Pacific Athletic A s sociation of the A . A. U. of U.
