St. Paul Bridge Bills Pass. Washington, March 27. -— The house today passed three of the six bills au thorizing the Chicago, Milwankee A St. Panl railroad to bridge navigable streams between Chamberlain, 8. D., and Paget sound. Strange to say, tbs three Washington bills introduced by Cashman were not passed, because Cushman, wno is a member of the committee to which they were re ferred, was not on hand to see that they were reported or call them np in the honse for passage. The committee on appropriationda suf fered a defeat, the committee of the whole, by a vote of 68 to 22, expung ing a paragraph from the bill which was alleged to be properly part of the poatoffice appropriation bill.
