This is Rev. H. E. Stubbs’ church and is the Gospel Workers’ proper ty. The edifice is 24x40 with 14ft. sides. A t the front is to be an en try 8x10. T. A. Miller has the ov erseeing of the work. Quite a num ber have promised aid either in mon ey or work towards building this church, and it will not be long be fore Estacada people can attend serv ices conducted in a church. Currinsi ¡lie 297, last Saturday proved to be a decided success considering so many people are busy digging potatoes, and others not yet returned from the hop fields. Everybody in at tendance seemed to havea good time and are loud in praise of the chick en dinner that was served free gratis to which everybody did justice. — B l u e E y e s .
