Eagle Creek
A. M. Alspaugh of Portland was out at
Alspaugh station Sunday.
Gus Linn formerly of Eagle Creek is
very sick.
Rev. Johnson and family who have
been camping on Eafcle Creek for five or
six weeks will start for the old citv of
Portland Wednesday.
A. K. Alspaugh had 1,360 bushels of
grain which the thresher said is the larg­
est crop that they have threshed this
year. He had 408 bu. of wheat and the
rest was oats.
F - A. Dowty while working at Als-
paugh’s with the threshers cut his finger
quite bad.
Mr. Brnough was in Portland Monday.
Phillip Stienman who has been work­
ing over in Eastern Oregon has returned
to his home at Currinsville.
Miss Echoe Githens and Miss Lulu
Dowty are taking music lessons of Mrs.
Cahill.
Mr. Bronough who has been camping
at Alspaugh for 2 or 3 weeks left for Port­
land Tuesday.

August Linn an old pioneer of Clack­
amas county has been very ill for the
past three weeks at the residence of E . N.
Foster. Dr. Strictland of Oregon City is
the attending physician and v ntertains
little hope for his recovery, Mr. Linn
contracted his present illness while min­
ing last winter in Montana.
Later: Mr. Linn was taken to Oregon
City this week for special treatment by
