Sharing sticks, as at present manu­
factured, are cylindrical In shape and
are »old In cylindrical casing of card­
board or other suitable material. In
nslng the stick It Is commonly re-
mored from the case and after use re­
placed therein. The objection to this
form Is that the Angers are gummed
with the soap and when the soap Is re­
placed In the box. It la apt to he
sticky, and, therefore, before used
again becomes fsstened to the casing.

the casing It eventually wears down to
a point where a readjustment Is neces-
