W. Roots of Boring and Su perintendent Wilson of the govern ment fish hatchery on the Clacka mas river passed through Estacada last week on their way to and from an inspection of the upper river. The building of the dam across the river at Cazadero will about compel the government to change the loca tion of the hatchery, and Messrs. Wilson and Roots are in favor of it being moved just below the O. W. P. dam as the river between Esta cada and there offers an fine site for a fish hatchery.
