Another New Wood Treating
Factory for. Estacada
A representative of the firm of
Fi::her, Thorsen & Company of the
city of Portland has visited Estaca
da several times lately, and has de
cided to build an establishment here
for the purpose of treating material
from the new sawmill in a manner
that will make it last longer. The
factory is usually called a “ dipper’ ’
and is especially for the treatment
of railroad ties. The site chosen is
near the wood factory.
