The Honorable Wm. T. Muir having drafted and furn ished us, free of expense, our pro posed city’s charter; therefore, B e it RESOLVED, That the Im provement Club of Estacada, Ore., extend a vote of thanks to Mr. Muir for his kind and generous assistance. Which resoultion was unanimous ly adopted. Secretary Campbell of the townsite company was present and was called on to make a speech. Mr. Morrow on behalf of the com pany offered the town a lot fronting west on Zobrist St. between 2nd & 3rd for a firehall.
