boys, Frank and Albert Hachler,

tention of boxing until Saturday
night, when he was asked to fight
in Nick Holloman's place. Albert
won his match when Cyril Fralcy
unintentionally fouled him. All the

Miss Lucy A. Case, nutrition
specialist of the Extension Service of
Oregon Stato college, gave a pro
tracted demonstration of the how of
making salads at Odd Fellows hall
Tuesday.
Miss Case is an adept in the ralad
branch of the culinary art. She
concocted 30 different kinds which
were used as Bamples as well as 10
used for show purposes. Her demon
stration was attended by quite a
number of Maupin ladies, each de
sirous of learning how to make
tempting dishfl.
